Tour Plan

Day 1 - Kathmandu to Lukla to Phakding

Catch the flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and then proceed to Phakding, a journey spanning approximately 2.5 hours, with an altitude change from 2840m to 2610m.

Day 2 - Phakding to Namche Bazar

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazar, a roughly 6-hour journey ascending to an elevation of 3440m.

Day 3 - Namche to Dole

Continue the trek from Namche to Dole, a 5-hour trek reaching an altitude of 4040m.

Day 4 - Dole to Machermo to Gokyo

Trek from Dole to Machermo in about 4 hours, ascending to 4410m, and then onwards to Gokyo, an additional 4.5-hour trek taking you to an elevation of 4790m.

Day 5 - Gokyo Ri summit

Reach the summit of Gokyo Ri, an approximately 2-hour climb to 5360m, followed by 2 hours of photography around the lake and a visit to the fifth lake at 4990m for sunset.

Day 6 - Gokyo Ri to Tragnag

Return from Gokyo Ri (5360m) to Tragnag (4700m) in about 4 hours and take some well-deserved time to relax.

Day 7 - Gokyo Ri to Chola Pass to Dzonglha

Embark on a 1.5-hour trek to Chola Pass (5420m) from Tragnag, and then head to Dzonglha (4830m) with a stunning view of Ama Dablam.

Day 8 - Dzonglha to Lobuche to Gorak Shep

Trek from Dzonglha to Lobuche in around 3.5 hours, reaching an altitude of 4910m. Afterward, make the 2.5-hour journey to Gorak Shep (5140m). If energy permits, consider ascending Kala Patthar, which takes roughly 1.5 hours.

Day 9 - Gorak shep to Everest Base Camp

Trek from Gorak Shep to Everest Base Camp (5364m) in approximately 2 hours.

In the early morning, around 6am, embark on a 2 to 3-hour trek from Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar. Prioritize a visit to Everest Base Camp before noon, and then return to Gorak Shep for lunch. At 2pm, begin the ascent to Kala Patthar, arriving around 4pm to capture the mesmerizing scenery through photography. Head back to Gorak Shep in the evening, reaching it by approximately 7pm.

Day 10 - Gorak Shep to Lobuche to Khongma La to Chukhung

Begin with a 2-hour trek from Gorak Shep to Lobuche (4910m), then continue to Khongma La for 2.5 hours, reaching an altitude of 5535m, before making your way to Chukhung over another 2.5-hour stretch, descending to 4730m.

Day 11 - Chukhung to Basic Camp to High Camp

Trek from Chukhung to Basic Camp, a 4-hour journey reaching an elevation of 5080m, and then onwards to High Camp in about 2 hours, ascending to 5600m.

Day 12 - High Camp to Island Peak to Chukhung

Embark on a 4-hour climb from High Camp to reach the summit of Island Peak at 6189m. After descending to High Camp in 4 hours, continue to Basic Camp (5080m) over 2 hours, and then trek down to Chukhung in approximately 4 hours at 4730m.

Day 13 - Chukhung to Dingboche to Pangboche to Tengpoche

Begin the day with a 1.5-hour trek from Chukhung to Dingboche (4410m), then continue to Pangboche in another 1.5 hours at 3980m, and finally to Tengpoche in the same amount of time at 3860m.

Day 14 - Tengpoche - Namche Bazar

Trek from Tengpoche to Namche Bazar, a journey of around 4.5 hours, with an altitude descent to 3440m.

Day 15 - Namche Bazar to Lukla

Trek from Namche Bazar to Lukla, at an elevation of 2840m.

Day 16 - Lukla to Kathmandu

Conclude your incredible journey by flying from Lukla back to Kathmandu.
